SASKATOON – Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan has withdrawn its proposal to negotiate a transaction with K+S Aktiengesellschaft of Germany. On May 31, 2015, PotashCorp offered €41 for each K+S share in a deal that would see PotashCorp regain significant global share of potash production.

PotashCorp dropped its offer for two reasons: falling commodity and equity markets, plus a lack of engagement by K+S management.
