SASKATCHEWAN – Vancouver-based Encanto Potash has released new numbers for its Muskowekwan potash deposit that it proposes to recover by solution mining. The measured resource is 272.6 million tonnes grading 29.5% KCl (26.9 million tonnes recoverable). The indicated resource is 1.05 billion tonnes grading 29.6% KCl (103.8 million tonnes recoverable). There is also an inferred resources of 2.50 billion tonnes grading 28.3% KCl (234.7 million tonnes recoverable).

Encanto has proposed annual production of 2.5 million t/y in solution for a 52-year-long mine life.
