PUMPS: GIW, Outotec team up for sales and service

GROVETOWN, Georgia – KSB’s US subsidiary GIW Industries and Finnish supplier Outotec are teaming up to sell and service GIW full line of hard rock mining pumps globally. Through the partnership with an international systems supplier, KSB expects to win market share in the mining segment's ore and metal production business, a market fiercely contested worldwide. The wear resistant and durable pumps from KSB's subsidiary GIW and the application knowhow provided by Outotec will ensure that mine operators' systems work more efficiently and productively. Outotec's complete sales and service network will be available for the two companies' new and existing metals mining and processing customers.
