AUSTRALIA - Mining IQ, a guide and learning portal for the international mining community, has named two Canadian bloggers among the 10 best mining blogs in the world.
The top-rated blog is www.IThinkMining.com owned by Jack Caldwell of Vancouver. Mining IQ calls it "insightful, frank and varied. ... Always refreshing, often challenging and never dull."
Toronto-based www.RepublicOfMining.com holds down the eighth spot. It was cited for its ability to "build awareness among the media, the general public and political decision makers about the economic and social benefits of sustainable mining practices in the 21st Century." It is owned by Stan Sudol a native of Sudbury, ON, and contributor to CMJ.
