EQUINOX MINERALS of Toronto has completed a uranium feasibility study for its Lumwana copper project in Zambia. Total mineral reserves are 3.3 million tonnes at 0.123% U3O8 and 1.00% Cu. The uranium ore is to be mined concurrently with copper ore from the existing Malundwe and Cihmiwungo pits. It will be stockpiled until a stand-alone uranium processing plant is built, capable of producing 2 million t/y U3O8. (www.EquinoxMinerals.com)

Vancouver's JET GOLD CORP. has completed a NI-43-101-compliant report for its Naskeena coal project north of Terrace, B.C. Although the project is still in its earliest stages, the report recommended that a $550,000 exploration program be mounted. The report may be read at www.JetGoldCorp.com or www.Sedar.com.

MINDORO RESOURCES of Edmonton has completed a NI-43-101 report covering the starter resource for direct shipping ore from its Agata North nickel laterite project in the Philippines. Combined measured and indicated resources are 4.4 million wet tonnes grading 1.25% Ni, 0.063% Co and 23% Fe. An inferred resource of 2.45 million tonnes grading 1.3% Ni, 0.062% Co and 22% Fe has also been identified. A map of the area covered by the resource estimate is available at www.Mindoro.com.

STORNOWAY DIAMOND CORP. of Vancouver has released a new Renard diamond valuation. The revised "base cases" are as follows: Renard 2 and 3 - US$121/ct, up 11%; and Renard 4 - US$79/ct, up 14%. The newly determined "base case" for the Lynx kimberlite is US$66/ct. (www.StornowayDiamonds.com)

Vancouver's TERRANE METALS has received a NI-43-101 resource estimate for its 100%-owned Berg copper-moly project 84 km southwest of Houston, B.C. Using a 0.30% CuEq cutoff, the indicated category contains 372.5 million tonnes grading 0.31% Cu and 0.036% Mo. The inferred resource is 140.9 million tonnes grading 0.25% Cu and 0.039% Mo. The 2007 drilling program outlined a zone of molybdenum-rich mineralization within wider and lower grade porphyry-style copper-molybdenum mineralization. This steeply-inclined molybdenum-rich core zone is adjacent to the Berg Stock. (www.TerraneMetals.com)

UNIVERSAL URANIUM of Vancouver and SILVER SPRUCE RESOURCES of Bridgewater, N.S., have completed the initial resource estimate for the Two Time zone, part of the CMB NW property in the Central Mineral Belt of Labrador. The indicated mineral resource is 1.82 million tonnes at 0.058% U3O8, containing 2.33 million lb of U3O8. The inferred portion is 3.16 million tonnes at 0.053% U3O8, containing 3.73 million lb U3O8. The zone remains open at depth and along strike to the south. See either www.UniversalUranium.com or www.SilverSpruceResources.com.

Toronto-based URSA MAJOR MINERALS has updated the feasibility study for its Shakespeare Ni-Cu-PGE project 70 km west of Sudbury, Ont. The new estimate for a probably reserve is 11.82 million tonnes grading 0.33% Ni, 0.35% Cu, 0.02% Co, 0.33 g/t Pt, 0.36 g/t Pd and 0.18 g/t Au, an increase of more than 500,000 tonnes over the original feasibility report. There is an additional indicated resource of 1.83 million tonnes grading 0.37% Ni, 0.41% Cu, 0.03% Co, 0.36 g/t Pt, 0.39 g/t Pd and 0.22 g/t Au. (www.UrsaMajorMinerals.com)

WESTERN TROY CAPITAL RESOURCES has released the NI-43-101 preliminary assessment for its MacLeod Lake molybdenum-copper project 275 km north of Chibougamau, Que. The assessment is based on an open pit and 2.1-million-t/y mineral processing plant. Indicated resources of 18.18 million tonnes averaging 0.605% Cu, 0.094% Mo, 4.48 g/t Ag and 0.06 g/t Au and inferred resources of 1.86 million tonnes at 0.35% Cu, 0.078% Mo, 3.61 g/t Ag and 0.04 g/t Au have been outlined.
