PERU – Dia Bras Exploration of Toronto reports its subsidiary Sociedad Minera Corona has agreed to sell its hydroelectric assets to Volcan Compania Minera for US$46.78 million. Dia Bras will net US$24.5 million by virtue of its 81.7% equity stake in Corona.

Dia Bras’ interest in Peru is its share of Corona’s underground Yauricocha silver-lead mine near Lima. The mine has been in continuous production since 1948.
