YUKON - Vancouver's CMC METALS has submitted the Silver Hart project description to the Yukon government, and expects the development and operation of a mine and 80-t/d mill to be approved. The mill could be commissioned as early as the end of 2008. The project is located in the central part of the territory, west of Watson Lake.

The Silver Hart property has a historical resource of 713,275 tonnes averaging 1,395 g/t Ag, 1.12% Pb and 3.73% Zn. There are two small zones that average 1,460 g/t and 1,937 g/t. Ag

CMC anticipates that mining of the high-grade zones will be done seasonally but the mill will operate year-round. The project is described in more detail at www.CMCMetals.ca.

Metallurgical tests conducted by SGS LAKEFIELD suggest recoveries of 96.9% for silver, 97.0% for lead, and 80.0% for zinc using flotation.
