AUSTRALIA – Immersive Technologies is now offering even more support to the mining industry where superior trainings can reduce operational risks. The company has expanded its Caterpillar training simulator line with the addition of the Cat 795F AC mining truck conversion kit. Immersive strive to work closely with Cat so that it simulators become available at the same time or shortly after new Cat products.

The 795F AC conversion kit has is highly accurate and effective, according to Immersive. For example, the kit uses the instrument panel and display from the real truck with both hardware and software supplied by Cat. Simulated machine behaviors experienced during the execution of safe operating procedures, such as starting on an incline and responding to new machine monitoring system warnings, are meticulously modeled and simulated as per the real machine. The correct operating procedures are tightly integrated with an extensive learning system within the PRO3, which has been repeatedly demonstrated via in-field measurement to provide rapid, correct and effective learning and assessment.
