URANIUM: Denison outlines 2013 plans

TORONTO – Denison Mines says it has 11 exploration projects on the go this year, and the most important is the Wheeler River uranium property between the Key Lake mill and McArthur River mine and mill in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan. The $14.6 million program will be funded 60% by Denison and the remainder by partners Cameco Corp. (30%) and JCU (Canada) Exploration (10%).

Denison's other winter drill programs include Moore Lake, Hatchet Lake, Wolly and McClean Lake.

Earlier this week Denison released larger resource numbers for the Phoenix A and Phoenix B deposits at Wheeler River. Together the deposits contain 152,400 indicated tonnes grading 151.6% U₃O₈ (52.3 million lb) and 11,600 inferred tonnes grading 29.8% U₃O₈ (7.6 million lb).
