SOUTH AFRICA - SXR URANIUM ONE of Toronto is readying its Dominion uranium mine for commercial production beginning in the first quarter of 2007. Initial production will be 2.0 million lb of U3O8 per year, ramping up to 4.0 million lb by 2011.

Uranium One says the Dominion deposit is one of the world's largest undeveloped uranium resources. The latest reserve declaration at Dominion estimated the deposit contains 16.1 million lb U3O8. There are also an estimated 146.6 million lb in the inferred category.

The Dominion project is a brownfield development formerly owned by ANGLO AMERICAN, which mined gold there. Uranium One says there will continue to be a significant gold byproduct when uranium mining begins. There is a relatively new CIL plant on site. The gold plant is already treating ore from the nearby Bonanza South orebody. A flowsheet for the combined plants is available in the presentation to the Sprott Uranium Conference in the Investors section at www.Uranium1.com.
