ALBERTA - In a move away from the traditional uranium-producing Athabasca Basin, MARUM RESOURCES of Vancouver has acquired a property near Fort McLeod in southern Alberta. Rocks in the area are said to be characteristic of the uranium deposits mined in Wyoming. Samples collected south of the city in the early 1980s graded up to 0.2% U3O8. Furthermore, the deposits may be suitable for inexpensive in-situ leaching.

More information about the company is available at www.MarumResources.com, but on March 9 the Fort McLeod announcement was not yet posted.
