SASKATCHEWAN - UEX CORP. of Vancouver says that results of its 2007 winter sonic drilling program at the West Bear deposit returned samples that assayed 6.03% U3O8 over 10.67 metres, including 25.22% over 1.76 metres. These are the best results to date from the deposit.

Two years ago UEX asked GOLDER ASSOCIATES to conduct a baseline environmental study of the West Bear area, and those efforts continue. Golder is also working on a feasibility study that is due in March 2008.

The West Bear deposit is part of UEX's Hidden Bay project in the eastern part of the Athabasca Basin. The company is updating its 43-101 report on the property. See www.UEX-corporation.com for a geological description of the Hidden Bay project.
