SASKATCHEWAN – The first five holes at the Shea Creek uranium project include high grade assays, says 49% owner UEX Uranium of Vancouver. The remaining interest belongs to Saskatoon-based Areva Resources Canada and includes the Kianna, Anne, Colette and 58B deposits.

The best results came from Hole SHE-142 the Kianna East zone that returned 22.3 metres at 0.85% U3O8. Included in the intersection were 1.4 metres at 5.93% and 6.9 metres at 1.30%. UEX noted that the position of the drill hole suggests that the zone extends to the east beyond the mineralization included in the 2013 Shea Creek resource estimate.

Drilling continues on the Anne zone at Shea Creek, but UEX and Areva have suspended exploration on the Hidden Bay project until uranium prices rise and show stability.

Detailed information about both projects is posted at UEX-Corporation.com.
