SASKATOON - CAMECO CORP. is renaming its subsidiaries in Wyoming and Nebraska. The new name for Power Resources and Crow Butte Resources is "CAMECO RESOURCES". The change is part of Cameco's long-term plan to create worldwide recognition for the Cameco brand.

Cameco plans overall production increases of 70% from its in situ recovery operations at Crow Butte and Smith Ranch-Highland. These operations and related projects combined have over 50 million pounds of U3O8 in proven and probable reserves, with additional resources and exploration potential. The current combined production of Cameco Resources makes it the largest U.S. uranium producer, with production of 2.1 million pounds U3O8 in the first three quarters of 2007.

The Canadian parent company is the world's leading uranium producer. See www.Cameco.com.
