SASKATCHEWAN – Vancouver’s NexGen Energy has drilled more than 80% U3O8, the highest grade ever from the Arrow zone at its Rook I property in the Athabasca Basin. The Arrow zone is a series of four sub-vertical mineralized shear zones that are open in all directions. Drilling in the A2 shear returned the best assays: 80.50% U3O8 over 0.5 metres; 2.48% U3O8 over 80.5 metres including 15.5 metres at 10.01%; 9.72 % U3O8 over 35.5 metres including 30.61% over 11.0 metres and 72.02% over 3.0 metres. The A3 shear has a total strike length of 295 metres and returned 18.0 metres at 1.48% U3O8. The A4 shear returned 7.23% U3O8 over 5.0 metres and 2.01% over 19.0 metres Drilling continues at the Arrow zone, and NexGen says it has about $20 million with which to fund the work.
