SASKATCHEWAN – Vancouver-based NexGen Energy is wrapping up the year the same way it began – with more high grade results from the Arrow uranium deposit at its Rook I project in the Athabasca Basin. Notable assays were reported from drilling in the A2 domain, step-out holes northeast of AR-14-30, the gap area between southwest boundary of Arrow and the 180-metre area, and the A1 and A3 expansion. In the A2 high grade domain, hole AR-16-111c1 returned 60.0 metres at 4.70% U3O8 including 27.0 metres at 10.27%. Additionally, hole AR-16-106c1 which was drilled 55 metres northeast and up-dip from AR-16-111c1 returned 40.5 metres at 6.92% including 27.0 metres at 10.10%. Assays from four step-out holes drilled northeast of the A2 high grade domain have confirmed the presence of strong uranium mineralization. Hole AR-16-108c2, which was drilled outside of the A2 high grade domain returned 49.5 metres at 3.07% U3O8 including 11.0 metres at 10.23%. In the gap area between the Arrow deposit grade shells and the mineralized area 180-metres to the southwest, mineralization extends from the Arrow deposit inferred resource to the southwest for at least 240 metres where it remains open in all directions. In the A3 shear, where the mineralized footprint has been materially expanded during 2016, hole AR-16-102c1returned 15.0 metres at 2.46% U3O8 including 3.0 metres at 11.26% located 88 metres above the A3 inferred mineral resource. In addition, hole AR-16-105c1 returned 23.5 metres at 2.93% and AR-16-105c2 returned 14.0 metres at 1.17%. In the A1 shear, step-out hole AR-16-108c4 returned 18.0 metres at 2.36% U3O8 including 4.0 metres at 8.94% southwest of the A1 inferred mineral resource domains. NexGen has had tremendous success this year at Rook I, calculating the Arrow deposit at 3.48 million tonnes grading 2.63% U3O8 and containing 201.9 million lb of uranium oxide. The deposit remains open in all directions. Please visit www.NexGenEnergy.ca.
