LABRADOR - Vancouver-based Crosshair Exploration & Mining has intersected vanadium mineralization over a strike length of 1,000 metres at its Central Mineral Belt (CMB) project. Highlights from recent holes include 0.18% V2O5 over 45.9 metres, 0.22% over 18.9 metres, 0.21% over 17.2 metres, and 0.33% over 4.4 metres.

Crosshair is actively expanding the vanadium resources at its CMB project. Part of the program involves testing 4,000 metres of existing drill core, which had previously been assayed only for uranium. The company released a 43-101 report in 2008 that included indicated and inferred resources containing a total of more than 27.5 million lb of vanadium, open in all directions.
