ALBERTA - ESCO CORP. of Portland, Oregon, has plans to establish a new wearparts business to serve the oil sands mining community in and around Fort McMurray. This is a new retail concept that will focus exclusively on wearparts products and solutions, a one-stop "supermarket" says the company. It will be open for business on Feb. 6, 2007.

The Esco/Equipment Sales and Service store will make it easier for mining customers to access a full array of effective products and services. The full line of Esco brands will be offered all in one location: Esco, QSF, Bucyrus Blades and Heflin Steel. Complementary wear products and services that are essential to oil sands mining will also be available. The operation will be supported by a team of Esco professionals from the engineering, manufacturing and product management team at the company's manufacturing facility in Nisku, Alberta.
