NEW BRUNSWICK – Trevali Mining Corp. of Vancouver began commissioning the Caribou zinc mine and mill in the Bathurst Mining Camp in late May. Initial production of zinc and lead concentrates has been attained, and a portion of them have sold and shipped.

Production numbers to July 31, 2015 tell the story. Approximately 1,933 tonnes of zinc concentrate grading 50.4% Zn has been produced. Production of lead-silver concentrate stands at 491 tonnes grading 37.4% Pb and 598 g/t Ag. All mill circuits are operational, and work now focuses on optimization.

Underground dewatering, refurbishment and optimization is proceeding as planned. About 1,500 tonnes of ore is being placed on the surface mill feed stockpile daily.
