MEXICO - Montreal-based DIA BRAS EXPLORATION has cut grades as high as 23.22% Zn and 5.08% Cu over 21 metres at its Bolivar property in the Piedras Verdes Mining District. The company notes that the silver content is roughly 60.0 g/t and the gold content ranges from a trace to 2.6 g/t.

Dia Bras acquired the Bolivar property in 2004 and began underground test mining in February 2005. Seven months later it purchased the Malpaso mill. The test mining rate has reached 300 tonnes/day, and Dia Bras expects to produce 16,200 tonnes of zinc concentrate and 5,800 tonnes of copper concentrate this year. Over the last four months, head grades have averaged 13.28% Zn and 2.38% Cu.

Further information about the Bolivar and Promontorio projects are available at the company's website, www.DiaBras.com.
