NEW BRUNSWICK BLUE NOTE METALS of Montreal haw engaged GENIVAR INC. to supply EPCM services for the reopening of the Caribou underground and Restigouche open pit zinc mines in the Bathurst Mining Camp.

The Caribou project includes a full revamp of the concentrator to address difficulties experienced in previous operations and to install recently developed fine grinding equipment and state-of-the-art process control technology. Blue Note intends to spend $38 million over the next 12 months re-opening the mines. Included in this total are items such as pre-production costs, mine and mill refurbishing expenses, administration costs and environmental and reclamation expenses.
