SASKATCHEWAN For the first time, Toronto's MANICOUAGAN MINERALS has an indicated resource estimate for its Brabant Lake zinc deposit 175 km northeast of La Ronge. The indicated portion is 1.5 million tonnes at 9.18% Zn, 0.79% Cu, 0.23% Pb, 32.6 g/t Ag and 0.15 g/t Au. The remaining inferred resource totals 3.0 million tonnes at 5.55% Zn, 0.55% Cu, 0.12% Pb, 13.9 g/t Ag and 0.10 g/t Au.

The latest resource estimate was based on results from the 2006-08 drilling program which focused on the previously unexplored Lower zone. The company's next step is to prepare a preliminary assessment and scoping study.
