INDUSTRIAL MINERALS DEVELOPMENT NEWS Building Begins on Zeolite Plant

BRITISH COLUMBIA Construction has begun on the UNITED ZEOLITE PRODUCTS zeolite processing plant near Princeton. The plant is a joint venture of FIRST AMERICAN SCIENTIFIC, ZEO-TECH ENVIRO, and C2C ZEOLITE.

The plant should be up and running by the middle of August 2004. It will produce micronized zeolite for HALLIBURTON GROUP CANADA, which will use it in a technically advanced system of down-hole cementing for the oil and gas industry.
