CONTWOYTO LAKE, Nunavut KINROSS, in an attempt to reduce costs and optimize production at its Lupin gold mine, has announced that 75 jobs will be eliminated at the operation. The company admits to being disappointed with the mine's first quarter results and is looking for annualized savings of between US$8-10 million after the restructuring.
