QUEBEC - The Langlois zinc-copper mine, 213 km north of Val d'Or, owned by BREAKWATER RESOURCES of Toronto reached commercial production on July 1. This week it released new reserve figures that were valid on June 30, 2007, the day before commercial production was declared.

The Langlois mine plan included 3.5 million tonnes of proven and probable reserves. The average grade is 9.8% Zn, 0.76% Cu, 50.20 g/t Ag and 0.08 g/t Au. On the same date, the measured and indicated mineral resource category continued 6.1 million tonnes of material grading 10.41% Zn, 0.72% Cu, 51.04 g/t Ag and 0.09 g/t Au. The inferred resources totalled 1.9 million tonnes grading 8.42% Zn, 0.46% Cu, 40.80 g/t Ag and 0.12 g/t Au.
