Crew Development Corp. has named Hans Christian Qvist as chairman of its board of directors. Petitions filed in the Supreme Court of the Yukon by Crew Development and a dissident shareholder group have been settled and four nominees of the group, including Qvist, Jan Vestrum, Kai Thogersen and Cameron Belsher, have been appointed as directors. They join board members John Darch, Peter Barnes, David Williamson and Wayne Fallis.

DiamondWorks has appointed Theo Botoulas as COO. Botoulas holds degrees in mining engineering and has extensive operational experience in the mining industry. He was previously a consultant to DiamondWorks. Botoulas replaces John Firth who recently resigned to pursue other business interests.

Marius Lessard has been nominated as chairman of the board of directors of Plexmar Resources Inc. Lessard brings 40 years experience as a financial consultant and has been a director of many publicly listed companies. He replaces Raymond Savoie. Plexmar Resources has also nominated M. Peter J. Hawley as a director. Hawley, a geological engineer, is president of Scorpio Mining Corp.

John Ryder has been appointed president of Dianor Resources Inc. Ryder, whose career in mining spans 29 years, has experience and knowledge in exploration and management. He was a senior geologist for RTZ for 11 years and conducted exploration programs in Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Saudi Arabia and Canada. For over a decade he has been a private geological consultant in gold, platinum and diamond exploration throughout America.
