Latest version of earth sciences software

Toronto-based Geosoft Inc. has released version 6.2 of Oasis montaj, the company’s industry standard mapping and processing software for exploration and earth science investigations. The software provides one integrated platform and user-friendly interface for productive manipulation of large geophysical, geological and geochemical datasets. Geosoft’s subsurface geology software Target and Target for ArcGIS, are both built on Oasis montaj’s powerful geospatial mapping platform.

Oasis montaj 6.2 includes enhancements to the software’s 3-D visualization technology and increased data format support. The upgrade further enhances the ability of geoscientists to understand, validate and migrate their data into GIS or production-oriented applications, such as mine planning systems.
