NUNA’s vision is to be the premier northern provider of value adding mining and construction services while fostering sustainable Aboriginal opportunities.

NUNA was formed in 1993 and is a Federal registered company. NUNA ownership consists of Nunasi Corporation (25.5%) and Kitikmeot Corporation (25.5%) and Nuna Management Group 49%. NUNA is 51% Inuit owned and qualifies as a “northern company” under the Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreement.

NUNA’s Management Team and on-site supervisors work closely with our clients to ensure a complete and thorough understanding of their operational objectives as well as the terms and conditions of the planned work

  • Work in progress is monitored daily by management in order to maintain consistent cost control and schedule performance as well as the satisfactory achievement of overall client objectives.
  • A high level of communication is maintained by all concerned and clients receive regular and detailed progress briefings at every stage of development.

  • Multi-million dollar heavy construction equipment base, crusher plants, camps, shops, washbay, etc.
  • Track record of completing work within scheduled time.
  • Dedicated to on-going employee training.
  • Workforce in excess 600 people on various projects in Northern Canada.
  • 66% – 81% of goods & services (by dollar volume) purchased from northern sources.
