Articulated dump truck

Doosan Infracore Construction Equipment is pleased to introduce its DA40 articulated dump truck (ADT) equipped with a 6-cylinder interim Tier 4-compliant diesel engine rated at 500 hp. The new truck also features a 12-speed transmission (8 forward and 4 reverse) for improved fuel consumption and the rig is also capable of carrying a payload of 31.9 cu yd and travelling at a top speed of 36 mph. The truck has permanent 6-wheel drive and equal power distribution while the free-swinging rear tandem bogie and the special articulation system help provide better performance in rough terrain.
