CIM Connect 2026: CMJ’s Editor in Chief interviews MineConnect’s Marla Tremblay

As executive director of MineConnect, Marla Tremblay has become a central figure in advancing Canada’s mining supply and services sector. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded beyond Northern Ontario into a provincewide — and increasingly national — platform, strengthening connections between mining, manufacturing, and innovation. Over the past year, MineConnect has posted strong growth in membership and visibility, while Tremblay has also received national recognition for her leadership.

Her recent work spans policy advocacy, industry promotion, and efforts to position mining as a critical enabler of supply chain resilience and emerging technologies.
