SUMMARY:MetPlant 2017
DESCRIPTION:MetPlant 2017 will continue to build on the tradition of promoting and imparting knowledge pertaining to world’s best practice in metallurgical plant design. Since 2002\, this conference brings together a broad range of disciplines from across the minerals industry involved in the ‘whole of life’ planning and operation\, (from design and maintenance engineers\, operations managers\, planning engineers\, metallurgists and process engineers\, environmental specialists\, equipment suppliers\, service providers and consultants) to discuss and review developments in metallurgical plant design and the optimisation of operations. \nMetPlant 2017 promises to uphold the success of a well established MetPlant conference series and will continue to present themes that will appeal to all multidisciplinary sectors across the mining industry including:\n•  Mineral processing\n•  Hydrometallurgy\n•  Biometallurgy\n•  Pyrometallurgy\n•  Water and tailings management\n•  Emissions management\n•  Maintenance and optimisation\n•  Plant control and energy efficiency\n•  Management strategies \nWith a diverse conference program\, we welcome case studies and discussion of world’s best practice in plant design\, plant operations\, care and maintenance and closure strategies\, and invite authors to consider design issues and potential solutions\, or operational strategies\, as potential subjects for papers. We also encourage collaborative papers between clients/engineers/designers. \nThe MetPlant 2017 conference and exhibition offers content and strategic information across a range of processes and commodities\, and offers excellent opportunities for discussion and networking between authors\, exhibitors and delegates. It is a platform that presents a unique and compelling value proposition to a wide range of attendees.
