SUMMARY:“Gold Ore Processing” Short Course
DESCRIPTION:Gold is among the first metals used by man because it naturally occurs in its native state. Over the years different process flowsheets have been developed with the purpose of optimising gold extraction from a particular feed material using the most appropriate technology. \nDue to numerous factors ranging from technical e.g. geological\, mineralogical\, metallurgical and economical to non-technical such as geographical\, environmental and political\, diverse industrial flowsheet for gold production have been developed in different part of the world. \nIn this course we introduce participants the basic concepts and operations involved in gold extraction. Attendees of the course will:\n• Study the introductory concepts of the mineralogy of gold bearing ores and minerals and the effect this has on the method of gold extraction used.\n• Learn the basic operations and equipment used in gold extraction.\n• Understand the structure of flowsheets and their application to various gold ores and minerals.\n• Understand metallurgical testwork required to characterise a gold ore.\n• Develop skills and knowledge in achieving maximum productivity at minimum costs.

SUMMARY:HYi-201 Commissioning\, Maintaining and Troubleshooting Industrial Hydraulics (formerly MRS)
DESCRIPTION:This is a 2nd level industrial hydraulics training course developed for the maintenance technician. This training course is a logical next-step seminar after HYi-101 (POH) to increase your understanding of industrial hydraulics. It is recommended for plant maintenance personnel who have responsibility for the proper upkeep of industrial systems. Students work in the classroom and hands-on in the lab to develop their hydraulic component and circuit understanding and troubleshooting skills. This seminar will address methods for correcting some hydraulic shock related problems and the elimination of external leakage problems. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that students complete the HYi-101 (POH) seminar or have alternate post trades training specific to hydraulic systems \nPrerequisites:\nCompletion of the HYi-101 seminar or equivalent post trades hydraulic training is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED prior to attending this training seminar. Contact us for more information.
