Correction (May 01, 2007)

Credit where credit is due

The “What’s Hot” maps that we are publishing in the front section of each issue of CMJ this year are derived from base maps provided courtesy of the Geological Survey of Canada, and we have unfortunately failed to acknowledge that. The base map for “What’s Hot in Ontario” (p.9, CMJ January 2007) is from Principal Mineral Areas of Canada, 2005, compiled by the Minerals and Metals Sector and National Energy Board, Geological Survey of Canada Map 900A, scale 1:6 million. The base map for “What’s Hot in Uranium” (p.10-11, CMJ February 2007) is from the Geological Map of Canada, 1996, compiled by J.O. Wheeler, Geological Survey of Canada Map 1860A, scale 1:5 million.
