Quadrem launches new solution suite

Dallas-based Quadrem, the global eMarketplace for the natural resources industries, announced it has enhanced its technical platform and established a powerful new solution suite for its more than 3,000 buyer and supplier organizations.

Quadrem’s recently-deployed technology platform includes an industrial-grade, globally-deployable hosted order management application known as SupplyCentre; an upgraded Quest RFx application, which now delivers simpler bid management; stronger reporting capabilities and improved user adoption capability; and a scaleable and robust XML trading network infrastructure, designed specifically to meet trading partner needs, that incorporates proprietary customizations and enhancements.

The new platform not only serves the needs of its trading partners, it also provides an opportunity for Quadrem to help solve problems around supply chain connectivity and supplier-facing applications.

In July, the new systems processed more than 120,000 XML documents associated with procurement orders worth US$1.3 billion on an annualized basis.
