Publisher celebrates 15Th Anniversary

In the world of publishing, reaching 15 years at the helm of any one magazine is truly a milestone and Canadian Mining Journal is proud to announce that its own Ray Perks has reached that esteemed level.

Since joining the magazine in November 1993, Ray has witnessed many good and not so good times but regardless of what cycle the industry is in, he’s enjoyed the ride but admits he’s looking forward to smoother times ahead.

“Even when times are not so good, the people I’ve come to know over the years have made my association with the mining industry a truly memorable and worthwhile experience. I admire the people who make up this tough industry and although I’m a little nervous about the immediate future, I know from past experience that mining and its people will rebound and will once again be a mainstay in our economy.”
