Reversible Hammer

Atlas Copco has just introduced its RC (reverse circulation) 50 hammer specifically designed for both deep hole exploration drilling and in-pit grade control applications. The new hammer features a Quantum Leap air cycle that creates a high-frequency circulation hammer for all rock formations. The hammer’s new centre recovery tube design is all new and there’s no need to open the tool, which means maintenance and field replacement are much easier.

Improved piston bearings and sealing areas also minimize the kind of wear that is so common in reverse circulation applications. www.atlascopco.us
