Copper-gold

AJAX. Kamloops, BC

Drilling gave 116.5 m at 0.36% Cu and 0.21 g/tAu in rich Monte Carlo zone, immed east of Ajax pits. Prelim econ assessment of Ajax West, East expected mid-2008; full feas study in 2009. Late March defin agreements with New Gold and Teck Cominco for land access, and surface and mineral rights on Ajax and New Gold’s adjac New Afton.

TULSEQUAH CHIEF. Atlin, BC

Redcorp Ventures (100%) www.redcorp-ventures.com Received permit for initial construction activities end of February, and authorization to cut lumber for full road construction from barge landing site to airstrip. Road construction had begun; crews were completing Shazah airstrip in early March and preparing for Shazah Creek bridge emplacement. Redcorp has finalized purchase of the diesel generating plant and associated equipment. Underground development to begin June.

Diamonds

AMARUK. Pelly Bay, NU

Diamonds North Resources (100%) www. diamondsnorthresources.com In March recovered 607 diamonds from 107-kg sample of Tuktu-2, and 219 diamonds from 37.85-kg sample of Tuktu-3 kimberlite. 98% of diamonds are white and most are clear octahedrals.

CHURCHILL. Rankin Inlet, NU

Sheer Minerals (58.14%) www.shearminerals.com& Stornoway Diamond (41.86%) www.stornowaydiamonds.com

2007 drilling of the 4.5-km-long, 2.6-m-wide, vertical Kahuna kimberlite dike yielded 1,071 diamonds including 99 macros from 206.3-kg sample incl one >1.7-mm. Also three mini-bulk-sample pits: 288.5-kg sample yielded 1,619 diamonds including 215 macros incl two >1.7-mm.

Gold

SPANISH MOUNTAIN. Cariboo region, BC

Skygold Ventures (70%) www.Skygold.ca& Wildrose Resources (30%) Initial resource for portion of the Main zone: 1.75 million oz of gold in meas & indic resources (67.06 million t at 0.81 g/tAu) with cutoff grade of 0.5 g/t Au. Inferred resource 4.32 million t at 0.91 g/t Au. Current drilling has expanded zone beyond these limits.

YELLOWKNIFE GOLD. Yellowknife, NWT Tyhee Development (100%) www.tyhee.com

In April, 27% incr in Nicholas Lake meas & indic resource to 311,000 oz contained gold, from assaying archived drill core and new approach allowing bulk mining. Meas & indicated resource for Nicholas Lake, Ormsby and Bruce zones 11.2 million t at 3.52 g/tAu, containing 1.3 million oz gold (Apr. 3, 2008). New figures avail soon incorporating 2007 drill results.

Molybdenum

MAX. Revelstoke, BC

Roca Mines (100%) www.rocamines.com

Phase I commercial prodn achieved Apr. 12, with phase II expansion to be completed summer 2008. Startup produced 410,000 lb contained moly in concentrate, from lower grade devel rock. In February 2008, MAX underground mine and mill achieved continuous daily throughput of 500 t/d, 80% of Phase I design rate; mill averaged 90% moly recovery. Phase II adit #2 recently reached location to break through to workings in the mine; expected complete early in May, when concurrent mine devel and prodn can incr to 1,000 t/d. Third ball mill will operate fall 2008, for nominal capacity of at least 1,000 t/d, when Phase II production target will incr to 600,000 lb/month of contained moly.

RUBY CREEK. Atlin, BC

Adanac Molybdenum (100%) www.adanacmoly.com

CEAA federal comprehensive study open for public comment until May 3. Open pit reserve 157.7 million t at 0.058% Mo using 0.040% cut-off grade. Constrn began November on access road, 550-person onsite camp and constrn infrastr. State-of-art concentrator with 20,000-t/d capacity will produce 12-14 million lb/y moly in first four years.

Silver

SILVER HART. Watson Lake, YT

CMC Metals (100%) www.CMCMetals.ca

Project descripn submitted to government March; approval expected to develop and operate mine and 80-t/d flotation mill. Historical resource: 713,275 t at 1,395 g/tAg, 1.12% Pb and 3.73% Zn. Mill may be commissioned end 2008. Mined seasonally; milled year-round. Expects 96.9% Ag, 97.0% Pb, and 80.0% Zn recovery.

Zinc-lead

PINE POINT. Great Slave Lake, NWT.

Tamerlane Ventures (100%) www.tamerlaneventures.com Confirmation drilling to convert historical resources into reserves. Winter drill program of 3,200 m in 16 holes yielded 48.17-m true vertical thickness at 8.21% Zn and 6.98% Pb and 19.21-m at 22.01% Zn and 13.23% Pb. 5,000-m drill program in 2008 on east side of Buffalo River.

PRAIRIE CREEK. Fort Simpson, NWT Canadian Zinc (100%) www.canadianzinc.com

Confirmed meas & indic resource of 5.84 million t grading 10.71% Zn, 9.90% Pb, 161.12 g/t Ag and 0.326% Cu to support >10-yr mine life at 1,000-1,300 t/d rate. Completed Phase 2 underground drilling (10 holes, 2,407 m) from new internal decline; all intersected mineralization. Water licence issued in March for road work; permitting ongoing. Prefeas study to be completed in 2008.
