FORKLIFTS: Sellick breaks ground for new plant



HARROW, Ontario – Sellick Equipment, manufacturer of rough terrain and truck mounted forklifts for mining and other industries for more than 47 years, broke ground last week broke ground for a new multi-million dollar, 110-m2 plant.

The ground breaking ceremony was attended by the company founder, 97-year-old Walter Sellick and is sons, Howard (president) and David (VP), and his grandson Colin (systems manager). The new plant is needed to keep the company competitive on a global scale by offering state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.

The newest generation of forklifts feature enhanced ergonomics, environmentally friendly diesel engines, and increased lift capacities. Sellick products are supported by a nationwide dealer network that provides parts and superior service.
