GOLD MINING: Century to boost Lamaque mining rate

QUEBEC - Century Mining of Blaine, WA, has received permission from the Quebec government to ramp up production at the Lamaque gold mine in Val d'Or to a rate of 2,500 t/d. The mine will be dewatered to 365 metres below surface to provide access to the Bedard Dyke, North Wall and Lamaque mining areas.
