McFarlane Lake Mining (CSE: MLM; US-OTC: MLMLF) reported additional results from its drilling exploration campaign at its Juby gold project west of Gowganda, Ontario. The drilling program commenced in December 2025 at the company's 826 zone and has now progressed to the Golden Lake zone.

“What we have intersected so early in the drill program is extremely encouraging”, Mark Trevisiol, CEO and chairman of McFarlane, said. “The intersection at Golden Lake significantly widens the mineralized envelope that defines the current mineral resource estimate. The additional discovery of gold at our 826 zone introduces another mineralized area on the project, some 1.5 km away from the existing mineral resource estimate. These discoveries further support how untested the Juby gold project remains with the potential to add significant gold mineralization with the aim of expanding gold resources.”

The Juby gold project hosts a current NI 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate effective September 29, 2025.

The key highlights from this drilling campaign include significant results from drill hole GL 26-71 at Golden Lake, which intersected 1.36 g/t gold over 95.4 metres and included 55.4 metres of 1.96 g/t gold and 9.9 metres of 3.22 g/t gold. This drill hole expands the mineralization envelope beyond the previous mineral resource estimate that was effective as of September 29, 2025, and additional assays remain pending. A second diamond drill hole designated GL 76-72 is located 100 metres southwest and is currently being drilled to test strike extensions of this mineralization, while an additional 13 holes are planned at the Golden Lake zone along a southeast/northwest strike corridor.

To accelerate drilling operations, McFarlane plans to deploy an additional diamond drill on site, with the second drill scheduled to commence operations in the second week of March 2026. The drilling will focus on the Golden Lake deposit over the next six to eight weeks, followed by drilling at the Juby deposit and potential additional drilling at the 826 zone.

Concurrently, environmental baseline studies continue on site, and groundwater wells will be installed around the Juby deposit in March. This work represents necessary technical data collection for submission to Ontario government ministries in support of McFarlane's future bulk sample extraction application for the Juby deposit.

The on-site drilling is contracted through two separate firms, each maintaining business partnerships with 2 of the threee First Nation communities holding territorial rights on the property: Matachewan First Nation, Temagami First Nation, and Atikameksheng Anishnawbek First Nation.
