Montage Gold has selected Finland-based Metso to provide all feeders for its Koné Gold project in Côte d'Ivoire. The company has included the order value in its minerals 2025 fourth-quarter intake, though the specific amount remains undisclosed.

"The delivery includes a complete range of feeders – apron, belt, and vibrating – designed to integrate seamlessly with Metso's process equipment previously ordered for the project. The feeders are a critical component of the dry comminution process, ensuring precise connectivity and protection across the circuit. Our large belt feeders feature the Metso Trellex EP2500 Feeder Plus design, delivering superior strength and extended belt life compared to competing solutions," Leif Berndt, director of Feeding Solutions at Metso, explained.

Feeders play a crucial role in mining operations, transferring materials between process steps and extracting materials from storage stockpiles. They ensure proper dosing of bulky materials, maintaining a uniform flow of dry or moist rock or mineral fractions.

Metso offers a wide array of feeders, including apron, belt, grizzly, pan, and wobbler types. These are available in standard or customized versions, designed to perform reliably in challenging conditions. The company touts their feeders as versatile and safe solutions that can boost production capacity while reducing operating costs.

Metso describes itself as a leader in sustainable technologies and comprehensive solutions for the aggregates, minerals processing, and metals refining industries worldwide. The company aims to enhance its customers' energy and water efficiency, increase productivity, and mitigate environmental risks through its expertise in products and services.
