OTR Engineered Solutions (OTR) has unveiled an upgraded version of its online Track Finder tool, revolutionizing the way mining and off-road equipment operators select and purchase tracks. The new interface offers a wider product range and more comprehensive information, streamlining the process of identifying suitable track solutions for various applications.
"OTR is committed to making customers' lives easier, and the updated Track Finder does just that — allowing customers to easily browse and purchase tracks from the convenience of their smartphones," Mitch Mittlestadt, general manager for Aftermarket at OTR, said.
The enhanced Track Finder enables users to search for tracks based on tread pattern, track size, or equipment make and model. It provides detailed information to help users select the most appropriate tread style and specifications for their specific equipment and mining applications. End-users can utilize this information to order the correct tracks from local OTR-product dealers, while dealers and large fleet owners with corporate accounts can directly purchase online from OTR distribution centers, using real-time inventory data.
"Our track offering is rapidly growing, along with our distribution network to better serve customers with high-performance products and excellent availability. In fact, our database includes roughly 1,200 track fitments, and we're adding to that monthly with more products and new information," Mittlestadt added, highlighting the rapid expansion of OTR's track offerings and distribution network.
Our updated interface makes it easier than ever for customers to walk through the selection process and narrow down the best solution for their equipment. Even more, it's optimized for viewing on smartphones, since that's where most people prefer to browse."
The Track Finder caters to a wide range of mining and off-road equipment, including carriers, compact track loaders, cranes, drills, and mini excavators. It currently features eight tread styles to accommodate diverse industries and applications, with additional designs in development to meet evolving market needs.
This tool represents a significant advancement in the mining industry's ability to efficiently source and maintain critical equipment components, potentially reducing downtime and improving operational efficiency across various mining applications.
