TORONTO – Dumas Contracting, a company that has provided contract mining services to many Canadian projects, is growing again with the acquisition of International Specialized Mining Services (ISMS). This follows Dumas’ acquisition of Peru’s sole shaft sinking contractor, L&L Contratista Minera, in October 2010.

ISMS has bases in both Guatemala and Mexico. The company provides project planning, engineering, underground mine development and production services to clients throughout Central America.

Mexico and Central America are considered key growth markets by Dumas because of the significant number of new projects under development throughout the region and a number of Dumas’ existing clients seeking to realize their new Latin American projects in partnership with Dumas.

The company’s trilingual website is at www.DumasMining.com.
