SASKATCHEWAN - SHORE GOLD of Saskatoon says that results are in from the phase three underground bulk sampling program at the Star diamond project 60 km east of Prince Albert. A total of 724.39 ct have been recovered, including 72 stones larger than 1.00 ct. The largest diamonds weighed 12.32 ct (white), 4.54 ct (grey), 4.47 ct (off-white) and 4.21 ct (grey). The average grade is 12.98 ct per hundred tonnes (cpht).

This and two earlier underground bulk samples were recovered from the Pense kimberlite 300 metres northeast of the shaft. The Pense pipe is 100% owned by Shore, unlike the remaining Star property that is part of a joint venture with NEWMONT MINING (40%).

Section maps of the Star project are available at www.ShoreGold.com.
