SANTIAGO, Chile Compaia Minera Doa Ins de Collahuasi has chosen the OUTOKUMPU TankCell for its expanded concentrator. Throughput is going up to 110,000 tonnes of ore per day from the original 60,000 tonnes. Eventually, the mill will have 27 TankCells totaling 4,320 m3 of capacity. Along with the cells, Outokumpu will supply a FrothCon flotation automation system. The equipment will be delivered in the next month or so.
