BRITISH COLUMBIA — Prize Mining Corp. (60%) of Calgary, AB, and its partner Eagle Plains Resources (40%) of Cranbrook, BC, have begun work that will put their Yellowjacket gold project near Atlin into production. Prize expects to receive a permit for production next month under the BC Small Mines Act.
Meanwhile, the 350-t/d processing plant is being recommissioned with a SAG mill and will soon begin processing the stockpiled bulk sample collected last year from the surface.
