NORTHERN QUEBEC - The Sigma-Lamaque Complex, owned by CENTURY MINING CORP. of Blaine, Washington, produced 55,152 oz of gold during 2005. The company reopened the Sigma open pit near Val d'Or. It reached commercial production in May last year, and had cash costs of US$419/oz during 2005.

Century says it has minimized ore dilution, and head grades have increased steadily, averaging 1.81 g/t Au in the last three months of 2006. Cash operating costs were lowered during the fourth quarter to US$385/oz for 20,024 oz of gold. The company expects that costs will continue to decline this year.

An underground exploration program is planned for the former Lamaque gold mine. See www.CenturyMining.com.
