MALARTIC, Quebec McWATTERS MINING has concluded a deal to sell its Amphi North property to AGNICO-EAGLE MINES for $250,000. Late last year, McWatters sold its East Amphi and Fourax properties to RICHMONT MINES.
In an unrelated item, Agnico-Eagle has announced that the Ontario Securities Commission may commence proceedings against the company and some employees in relation to the timing and content of the company's disclosure concerning the rock fall at the LaRonde gold mine early last year.
