ONTARIO — The first 43-101 resource estimate for the Goliath gold project near Dryden is now in the hands of Toronto's Treasury Metals, the 100% owner. Indicated and inferred numbers have been determined for the Main zone of the Thunder Lake deposit following a 13,305-metre drilling program.

The company says the indicated resources, located from surface to about 200 metres depth, occur in three separate regions of the model that are separated by 50 to 75 metres of inferred resources. Inferred resources are encompassed by the entire mineralized envelope of the Main zone. Using a 3-g/t cutoff, indicated resources are 560,000 tonnes grading 5.9 g/t Au or 110,000 contained oz of gold. The inferred resource is 3.27 million tonnes at 5.9 g/t Au or 625,000 contained oz.

The Main zone extends over a minimum strike length of approximately 1,600 metres and dips 70 to 75° to the south or southeast. As defined by the new study, the Main zone lies within a prospective trend over 4.km long. The report was prepared by A.C.A. Howe International.
