ADEX MINING of Toronto has appointed Dr. Norman M. Betts to its board of directors (subject to regulatory approval). He is a former finance minister and minister of business in the New Brunswick provincial government and associate professor of business administration at the University of New Brunswick.

Jack Gill has resigned as a director of Vancouver-based CALYPSO ACQUISITION. Robert Pendreigh, formerly of AMEC, will replace him.

The newest member of Vancouver-based GGL DIAMOND board is Graham Eacott, a retired metallurgist with many years of experience in the industry.

GOLDEN GOOSE RESOURCES of Montreal has named A. Douglas Hunter its new VP exploration.

Peter Bradford plans to step down from the president’s and CEO’s roles at Denver’s GOLDEN STAR RESOURCES by the end of 2007.

Toronto’s MARATHON PGM CORP. has named Raymond Mason its new VP operations. He is a former manager of the Lac des Iles palladium mine.

ST ANDREW GOLDFIELDS of Oakville, Ont., has asked Jacques Peron to become its president and CEO, effective Oct. 1, 2007. He is currently senior VP Americas at IamGold Corp.

VISTA GOLD of Denver has named a new president and COO, Frederick H. Earnest. He was previously Vista’s VP project development.
